MA Students at Allianz Summer Academy

From 29 September until 2 August, CEU students Cristina Pricop, Benedict Stefani, and Bence Hamrak, all three from the Political Sciences 2-year MA, Aga Januszcyk from the Legal Studies, Human Rights MA program, and Dominik Hertlik, from the 2-year MA in International Relations, took part in the Allianz Summer Academy (ASA) on Europe.

Winners of Best M.A. Thesis Awards in the AY2018-19

The Department of Political Science nominates the excellent quality of theses to the Best MA Thesis Award every year. After a thorough review a departmental committee selects the winners of each program.

This year Ryan Switzer received the Best MA Thesis Award in the One-year MA program for his Unhooding the Alt-Right: Framing and Metapolitics in Far-Right Discourse work. Supervisor: Béla Greskovits.

Carsten Schneider Wins 2019 CEU Distinguished Teaching Award

It is with great pleasure that we are announcing the recipients of the 2019 CEU Distinguished Teaching Award and 2019 CEU Award for Outstanding Research.

By the decision of the Selection Committee, Hyaesin Yoon from the Department of  Gender Studies and Carsten Schneider from the Department of Political Science  have been selected as the recipients of the 2019 CEU Distinguished Teaching Award. The award recognizes CEU faculty members for promoting high standards of teaching, linked with the mission and institutional ambitions of CEU.
