Daniel Bochsler and Andreas Juon have published a new chapter in Democracy and Democracy Promotion in a Fractured World. Challenges, Resilience, Innovation, ed. S. Geissbühler. Berlin/Zürich: LIT Verlag, 159-86.

They were curious to understand the diffusion of constitutional rules. In this book chapter, they scrutinise the role of mediators in designing power-sharing constitutions after civil conflicts.

Prof. Judit Sándor appointed as expert at European Court of Human Rights

Prof. Judit Sándor was appointed as an expert in the Case of Karsai v. Hungary (Application no. 32312/23) at the European Court of Human Rights in accordance with Rule A5 § 1 of the Annex to the Rules of Court.

She is requested to appear in front of the Court in Strasbourg and to provide her expert opinion on a pending application before the European Court of Human Rights in November.

After finishing my undergraduate studies in Economics and Political Science and International Relations in Bogazici University in Istanbul, I obtained my Masters and PhD degrees in Political Science at Yale University. Before coming to the CEU, I was a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Politics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.
