As the climate crisis escalates, sustainable finance is key to the green transition. Professor Anil Duman, faculty member at CEU’s Political Science Department, is leading CEU’s contribution to Financing for Green Transition (FINANCE4GREEN), a research initiative exploring how central banks can integrate climate risks into monetary policy.
In collaboration with Kadir Has University, METU, SEFIA, and other global partners, and funded by the European Commission - Horizon Europe, this project aims to develop green central banking strategies to support a net-zero future.
