Yuji Natsume, a one-year MA student, chose the Political Science program at CEU because of its interdisciplinary approach to political science and strong Post-soviet regional focus. So far, he enjoyed most the course "Media systems and democracy".

As the PS program is quite demanding, Yuji struggles a bit with finding time to pursue his hobbies. He'd like to learn how to do programming and R, and to learn more languages. His advice for his fellow students is to stay focused.

We are proud to say that this year out of the 30 scholarships available, six of our MA students received Alumni Scholarship!

Funded by donations from CEU graduates, the Alumni Scholarship is awarded to admitted full-time Master's and Bachelor's students who demonstrate a commitment to community service as well as the potential to help build strong CEU alumni communities around the world after graduation.

Huge thanks to Alumni Donors for supporting these remarkable students!

Alessandra Oshiro, a one-year MA student from Peru, chose the Political Science program at CEU because of substantial financial aid and its strong focus on methods. So far, she enjoyed most the course Introduction to Theoretical and Applied Statistics by professor Mariyana Angelova.

As the PS program is quite demanding, Alessandra tries to improve her time management skills. She says that keeping her work-life balance and not feeling overwhelmed is her biggest struggle right now. But living in the beautiful city of Vienna definitely helps her stay positive.
