The Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives (Blinken OSA) has been working, using all available resources on an overly ambitious digitization program to make its collections easily available to students and faculty in Vienna. By the end of the calendar year, they will have close to 14.000 hours of moving images available in electronic format. In the past months, they had over three hundred thousand pages of printed documents digitized that will also be available via our Research Cloud for the CEU community in Vienna. The Research Cloud can be accessed with MS identification on CEU’s SharePoint site.
Blinken OSA would like to work with and help CEU incoming students, even before they arrive on the campus. They offer personalized research services to the students and are ready to suggest, find, digitize, and send appropriate archival material related to the individual research, thesis, and dissertation topic of the students.
Robert Panica, Senior Reference Archivist at Blinken OSA will coordinate the programs on the part of the Archives. (parnicar@ceu.edu)
