Congratulations to the Winners of PolSci Alumni Fund Scholarship 2014/15

The Department of Political Science is happy to announce the winners of the newly established departmental Alumni Fund Scholarship. We have received a number of very good applications and our alumni, who volunteered to helps us decide on the issue had a difficult time in selecting the winners.
Given the very good applications, the department has decided to split the award. This years winner is Patrik Pavlovsky and the runner up is Madonna Mikhail, both from the first year of our two-year Program.

Political Science Alumna Tinatin Khidasheli Appointed Minister of Defense in Georgia

CEU Political Science Alumna Tinatin Khidasheli (Class of 1996) has been nominated Minister of Defense in Georgia. A Republican Party member and former civil society activist,  she was appointed as Georgia's Minister of Defense on 1 May 2015, the country's first ever female defense minister.
