The CEU Department of Political Science is proud to announce two recent publications by faculty members Daniel Bochsler and Judit Sandor.
Daniel Bochsler has authored a chapter titled “Nationalist Outbidding in the Shadow of Geopolitical Change” in the newly released volume The (Geo)politics of Democracy in Wider Europe, published by the European University Institute (EUI).
In his chapter, Dr. Bochsler analyzes electoral campaigns in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and Moldova, considering how they have been shaped by the broader geopolitical shifts following Russia’s ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine.
Judit Sándor has published an article titled “The Biopolitics of Menstruation in Hungary: Then and Now” in Pravni Zapisi (Vol. XVI, No.1, 2025).
The article provides a timely and critical exploration of menstruation through the lens of biopolitics and feminist legal studies, addressing historical narratives and contemporary policy in Hungary.
