If there is a word that best describes my overall experience in the MA Political Science program at CEU, it is this: outstanding.
The expertise of the faculty in all major branches of political science, the brilliance of my fellow students, and the exceptionally cosmopolitan nature of the CEU community―the combination of all of these factors meant that each day of my life in CEU was a rare privilege to learn from, and network with, with some of the best and brightest minds from diverse ethnocultural and religious backgrounds.
The quality lectures on historical and contemporary political conundrums coupled with the encouragement of the faculty were profoundly instrumental to my admission to the competitive PhD in Development Studies and to the prestigious Gates Cambridge Scholarship at the University of Cambridge.
The epistemic attitudes and values I acquired from my studies at CEU―such as critical thinking, creative writing, tolerance of diversity, and quest for open society―have remained with me and now guide my scholarship at Cambridge.
I am eternally grateful to CEU for the experience. I would encourage prospective students to consider CEU for graduate studies in political science and advise current students to make the most of the resources available to them.
