A multidisciplinary and transnational research team--of which Judit is one of four Principal Investigators--has been awarded the esteemed European Research Council (ERC) Synergy Grant.
Called LEVIATHAN, the grant funds a six-year project that seeks to shed light on the history of post-war Europe on both sides of the Iron Curtain. The funding for the CEU team is close to 2,4 million euros for six years. The total amount of the grant is close to 10 million euros – the maximum amount awarded.
This is a major accomplishment; a testament to the international recognition that Judit’s research has won and proof of her extraordinary and ongoing productivity as a scholar."
