CEU Political Science alumnus Alan Renwick (POLS ’97 MA, ’98 MPhil) has been named deputy director of the Constitution Unit in the University College of London's Department of Political Science. His tenure will commence in September 2015.
Renwick is currently an associate professor at the University of Reading, and has previously held numerous academic positions at the University of Oxford. He authored two books: The Politics of Electoral Reform: Changing the Rules of Democracy, published by Cambridge University Press in 2010, and A Citizen's Guide to Electoral Reform, published by Biteback in 2011. His most recent work is entitled After the Referendum: Options for a Constitutional Convention, a report published by The Constitution Society in 2014.
