Budapest Open Debate Tournament is a major international university debate tournament in Hungary, which celebrates its third edition this year. The tournament is organized by students of Central European University, Corvinus University of Budapest and Eötvös Loránd University on a voluntary, not-for-profit basis. It takes place between 28 February and 2 March 2014 in Budapest, and it will welcome over 170 debaters and adjudicators (all university students) from throughout Europe, Asia and the United States of America, including our neighbors in Austria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia, and further such as Israel, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Qatar, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
It is our greatest pleasure to cordially invite you to attend any of the tournaments preliminary rounds, semifinals at the Central European University from 9:00 hours on the 1-2nd of March and its Grand Final starting at 15.00 hours on 2nd March 2014 in the Aula Magna of Eötvös Loránd University (1-3 Egyetem tér, 1053 Budapest).
