Magnus Schoeller is Principal Investigator at the University of Vienna and ‘APART-GSK’ Fellow of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute (EUI). His research integrates Policy Analysis with International Relations and International Political Economy. Magnus has worked on EU politics, especially eurozone governance, Germany's foreign and EU policy, small states in the EU, the European Parliament, leadership theory and methodological aspects of process-tracing. This research appeared in leading journals, such as the Journal of European Public Policy, the European Political Science Review, or West European Politics. He also wrote a book on Leadership in the Eurozone, co-authored a book entitled European Parliament Ascendant, and co-edited a book on Governing Finance in Europe.
